This 1942 Ford GPW was acquired by my grandfather in 1970, and a refurbishment completed in 2013 involved fitting a replacement tub and refinishing the truck in olive drab with white Army-style stencil graphics.
The individual front seats and rear bench were also refreshed with replacement cushions and olive drab cloth upholstery. Power is provided by a 134.2ci Go-Devil inline-four linked with a three-speed manual transmission and a dual-range transfer case. The truck rides on two-piece 16" painted wheels and is equipped with a folding windshield, windshield wipers, a pintle hitch, a rear-mounted jerrycan holder and spare tire, and a replica rifle and tools secured to the sides. This GPW is now offered on dealer consignment at no reserve with a General fire extinguisher, military-style flashlights, a tire pump, and a clean title
